How often you have your rugs cleaned is based on personal preference and level of use.
We use a steam cleaning method called hot water extraction. Carpet and rug manufacturers recommend this method because it picks up the dirt without harming the fabric.
Additionally, the steam cleaning process does not inject substances into the rug that can leave residue on the rug fibers.
We use some of the most powerful equipment out there to clean and deodorize your area rug. This is the most effective way to kill bacteria as well as lift dirt and allergens.
It’s always a good idea to shake out the rug beforehand to avoid any debris falling off during transport, but there are no preparation requirements for our service.
If you do have any areas of concern on your rug, let us know beforehand (at drop-off) so we can give that area special treatment. For stain removal, the type and age of the stain is always helpful for proper removal.
Unfortunately, the best time to address stains is when they occur and before they dry into the fabric. Though we have various professional solutions on hand to treat almost any stain, some stains are difficult or simply impossible to completely remove. We use advanced stain removal processes that are not available over-the-counter and our success rate on stain removal is very high. However, we cannot guarantee complete stain removal.
Our standard turnaround time is 10 days from when we receive your rug. For drop-off orders, you will receive a text when your rug is ready for pickup. For delivery orders, you will receive regular text updates as to the pickup and delivery status of your order.
For an additional fee of $25, our drop-off orders can upgrade their rug to a Rapid Turnaround Order with a 5-day turnaround guarantee (drop-off only and subject to availability).
